This garden was a remodel of the sloping garden that the building contractors created. Garden-Scapes got rid of the slope by creating a Brazilian slate patio against the house which flows into a raised Saige composite deck.
The raised planters either side create practical planting areas.

Garden-Scapes created this softwood deck for a customer who had an old deck which had passed its purpose. This deck like all our decks has a 6x2" timber frame with the joists spaced 400mm apart with concreted in support legs.
The picture frame with a flipped board gives a nice finish which runs parallel to the capping on the sleeper retaining wall.

This outdoor kitchen area comprises of a pair of integrated charcoal fuelled grills and oven boxes, black porcelain shelves and work surfaces, and space for an under counter fridge.

Garden-Scapes were asked to replace an existing sunken patio area with a modern up to date one. The patio areas are created with light grey hand split Indian sandstone,the new walls are constructed with antique Flemish bricks,the patio pointing is a traditional mortar mix which is packed in with a trowel and finished with a flat pointing iron to ensure strength and longevity.

A returning customer tasked us with creating a brick path leading to an undercover patio area which we had previously installed.
The path is created using full bricks laid on edge and pointed in the traditional manner of packing the joins with mortar which ensures a long lasting beautiful path to enjoy for many years to come .

This brick outdoor pizza oven was a great project to be tasked with. The unit consists of a beautiful domed atop an aesthetically pleasing cylinder of brickwork with incorporated side units finished with black granite work surfaces.

We have really enjoyed working on this beautiful hardwood deck. The customer contacted us after having had a badly installed composite deck. We removed the existing deck and built a lovely yellow balau hardwood deck.
The deck has a double edge picture frame with the main boards laid at 45 degrees with the fixings running at the same angle in the opposite direction. It also features a sturdy balustrade.
Garden-Scapes completed this project in Newnham May 2019. Previously this part of the garden was taken up by a tired raised decking area.
This garden consists of Indian sandstone which is jointed with resin and edged with Flemish antique bricks laid in a half bond, a bespoke pergola and new fencing along with a sleeper retaining wall.
This garden in Whitstable was originally a cramped feeling space that sloped away which was not pleasant to spend time in. Garden-Scapes turned it into a beautiful garden that can now be enjoyed.

Given the task to make use of the space behind a swimming pool pump house we created this beautiful Japanese inspired
lean-to that compliments the koi pond it is situated on the bank of. The deck, seat and planter are clad with Millboard composite boards, manufactured in the U.K the timber construction is bespoke and was crafted on site.
The flags in this patio are from the Castacrete natural stone look range, as with all patios installed by Garden-Scapes there is 150mm of type 1, to make the sub-base, and then a 50mm full mortar bed that the flags are laid upon. This ensures structural integrity and longevity.
The customer opted for a modern, resin based grouting system. This impressive material is w ater permeable, weed and boring insect resistant, as well as f rost and de-icing salt resistant. Again, ensuring the finish will last for many years to come.
